The cost of a crewed charter includes boat rental, fuel, crew, drinks, food, toys and cleaning. The price vary depending on the size and type of the boat you chose, the number of passengers, the destination, the season and - of course - the duration. Additional amenities or services could also affect the price, such as having a DJ, private chef on board or special watertoys.

In addition, for many, booking multi-day private yacht vacation is a welcome change from boring hotels and resorts. No 5-star accommodation can compete with the splendor of the starry sky. It is an experience of pure luxury, unforgettable and varied days that cannot be experienced anywhere else in the world.

Group tours (joined trips) are offered by some yacht companies that sell individual tickets for a yacht tour on a specific date with the aim of using the boat to its full capacity. They are ok for singles or couples without special requirements, as the tickets are of course significantly cheaper than a private charter yacht.

The question of whether a join trip or a private yacht charter is better can best be answered with a counter question: Do you prefer traveling on a crowded bus or in a luxurious private car?

However, for a certain group size or for certain requirements, it is advisable to book a private tour, as these cost the same or only slightly higher per person price, but offer significant advantages:

• Individual service that starts with the advisory before booking and is personally tailored to you until the end of the yacht charter tour
• Plenty of space and privacy on board
• No strangers on board who could disturb you (or possibly offend your religious feelings) through their behavior or clothing. Only you, your familiy/friends and the crew.
• They decide everything according to their taste - route and schedule (where they like it best, they just stay there...), food, music, activities, return
• You can tailor everything on your private yacht to your children or older people, and at the same time you don't have to take any special features of other groups into account.
• If one of your fellow travelers is not feeling well (e.g. seasickness), you can change the tour accordingly or return early

The high season, which typically spans from November to February, is the ideal time. During this period, you can expect cooler temperatures and lower humidity, creating comfortable conditions for sailing. The approximate average temperature during the high season ranges from the mid-70s°F to the low 80s°F.

If you plan to visit Thailand just outside of the high season, the months before and after offer favorable conditions as well. The shoulder seasons of March to April and October to early November still provide pleasant temperatures, ranging from the high 70s°F to the mid-80s°F.

Yes, in many cases our charter yachts can pick you up directly from a place / beach where you are staying. This depends on many factors like tide, wind and weather conditions, and the type of rental boat.

Basically, boarding is safest and most comfortable in the harbor / pier. And usually this is the closest place to your destination. For example, if you reside on the west side of Phuket (Patong, Kamala, Mai Khao, Kata ...) and want to go to Phi Phi Islands, which is on the east side of Phuket, the boat would have to go around the island. This time would be lost for your actual trip unless you book additional travel times.

All in all this can involve significant additional costs (gasoline consumption, additional time, etc.). We are happy to clarify and indicate the options and costs individually depending on the case. 

Yes, we are happy to arrange private yacht tours to special events such as the full moon party in Koh Phangan or New Year's Eve in Patong with exceptional tour times. Everything is possible! :)

It is advisable to plan this as far in advance as possible, because the availability and flexibility of our yachts and crews is no longer fully guaranteed shortly before the dates in question.

The costs for this are calculated separately and cannot be shown as a standard in the online quotator.

Yes, this is generally possible if you have booked the yacht charter for the full day. Flexibility is limited when booking half-day tours, as the other half of the day may be booked by other guests and must start on time. But we will try to arrange your needs!

Please inform us of such plans as early as possible.

• In some cases, yacht operators have a legal requirement for safety reasons to be back at the pier or to be at anchor (during overnight stays) at Sundown.
• If your boarding is delayed due to your own fault, in most cases the lost time cannot be attributed to the tour as the staff is only available for the booked period and may have other commitments.

Value Added Tax (VAT) is a tax that is levied on consumer goods and services in almost every country in the world and, similar to the US sales tax, increases the final price for consumers accordingly.

The current VAT rate in Thailand is 7%.

This tax revenue is used to finance public facilities such as piers and jetties, staff and Marine rescue services. Hopefully. 

• To ensure the greatest possible cost transparency, all our displayed prices include VAT. This can be a disadvantage when comparing prices with other providers, who display net prices and then add the tax as a nice surprise. It is therefore best to ask for final prices right from the start. 
• Of course, you will also find suppliers who offer their products at a lower price without VAT. We recommend that you carefully weigh up the risks of such transactions, which are of course always based on private payment methods and, in the event of damage, possibly without any insurance cover at all. 

We will be happy to accommodate all your wishes within the scope of the possibilities on board, as long as they are mentioned early enough. 

If you have any restrictions or special requirements in your group, please let us know in good time, ideally at the time of booking your Yacht Charter. This includes:

• Disabled or decrepit people

• Please note, however, that even on tours with a private chef, individual a la carte orders are not possible, but shared menus are served that can be prepared efficiently and to a high quality.
• Please also note that any special requests/changes after booking may result in additional costs, which we would like to avoid.
• The chance to realize your wishes shortly before boarding or during the tour are very limited.

We try to find a solution for every situation and need and prepare accordingly. But this is not possible if we do not know about it in time. The time of boarding is not the best time :)

The expansion of the mobile phone network in Thailand is very advanced and you can expect very good connections in almost all tourist destinations. This also includes larger islands with developed infrastructure such as Phi Phi Island, as well as most islands that are within a few miles of the mainland.

However, the greater the distance from the mainland, the more patchy the network coverage becomes, so that ultimately an Internet connection might be no longer possible, but only a pure GSM telephone connection or no connection at all. Depending on the location and the weather conditions, it cannot be predicted with any certainty.

Depending on the equipment, many private charter yachts offer WiFi on board, as their own mobile equipment or even satellite connection has a greater range. This is of course particularly true for our superyachts, which are designed to provide a professional working environment

However, a good, stable connection cannot always be guaranteed on the high seas. If for any reason or at any time a stable connection is essential to you, please discuss this with the captain.

Yes, you can pay by credit card. We will send you a payment link with which you can send money easily and securely. The payment is processed by a certified service provider. For the payment processing we have to add 3% to the total price. 

As it takes more than 7 days for us to access the money, all payments over 60,000 THB must be made at least 7 days before departure. If you would like to pay your balance at the time of boarding, please pay in cash.

General travel insurance typically excludes coverage for extreme sports or risky activities. If you plan to engage in adventurous activities on your yacht trip, such as scuba diving or jet skiing, consider an additional policy that specifically covers high-risk activities.

3. High-Value Items and Personal Belongings

While most insurance policies cover personal belongings up to a certain limit, high-value items may not be fully protected. If you’re bringing valuables on your yacht charter, arrange additional coverage for these items to ensure compensation if they are lost or stolen.

4. Acts of War or Terrorism

Yacht charter travel insurance generally includes evacuation for medical emergencies but often excludes coverage for evacuations due to war or terrorism. If your destination carries a higher risk of such events, consider supplementary coverage for evacuation in these scenarios.

5. Intoxication or Illegal Activities

Insurance will not cover incidents related to intoxication, illegal drug use, or unlawful activities. For a safe and secure yacht experience, avoid any behavior that could void your coverage in case of an incident.

6. Known or Foreseeable Events

If an incident is considered a “known” or “foreseeable” event, most insurers won’t accept claims related to it. Be mindful of specific coverage limitations for certain activities or events, and ask your provider about additional policies for known risks.

7. Unapproved Yacht Operators or Vessels

If damage or injury occurs because an unapproved individual was operating the yacht or if an unapproved vessel was used, insurers may deny coverage. Ensure that only certified operators handle your yacht and verify that your charter meets insurance requirements.

Yes, almost all known destinations can be reached within one day, including the return journey. But it depends on the boat: a sailing boat, for example, can only cover the distance to Phi Phi Islands or Ang Thong Marine Park in 3-3.5 hours. Some sailing boats therefore offer 12-hour trips. If you are a sailing enthusiast, this is perfectly fine.

If you want to reach and enjoy the destination as quickly as possible, you should book a motor yacht or speedboat. Or a multi-day trip with overnight stays, which is recommended anyway due to the advantage that you can then enjoy the magic and tranquillity away from the usual visiting times of the many excursion boats.

No! We don't want any frustration and communicate all prices transparently on the website or, if you have special requests, during the booking process.

With payment of the full amount, all agreed services including taxes are paid for. We attach great importance to this guarantee because many of our competitors do it completely differently - their offers seem particularly cheap at first glance and suddenly become more and more expensive when there is no turning back.

The only possible additional costs:

• Voluntary tips for the crew (gratuities)
• Your own expenses for dining out or renting water toys (jet skis)
• Marine Park fees to be paid in cash directly to the park rangers. The amount varies depending on the park, but we will inform you about this on the website or during the booking process.
• Compensation for damages in the event of negligent damage to the yacht or its furnishings.

If transport isn't already included, we'd be delighted to arrange a convenient way for you to get where you need to go. We've made it super easy for you to choose the area of your accommodation in our handy booking calculator! Just a heads-up, the price for transport may vary depending on the distance.

•  We always try to make sure you're as comfortable and legal as can be, so we like to keep our minivans at maximum capacity. This is for your convenience, as we find that 10 people is the ideal number, even if the vehicle could technically accommodate 1-2 more in jump seats.
• Of course, you're also welcome to organize the transport yourself or have it carried out by your hotel. We'll be sure to let you know the exact address of the meeting point after you make your booking.

We'll make sure all the transport is organised so that you can be on the boat right on time for departure.
We hope you don't have to be late, but if you are, there are a couple of things to keep in mind.

• First, you might miss time at the boat, which would be a shame.
• Second, your taxi driver has a tight schedule and might have to leave because of other pick-up appointments. If this happens, the taxi driver will unfortunately have to charge you for the journey and you'll then need to arrange alternative transport at your own expense.
  Just a heads-up: taxi drivers in Thailand usually wait a maximum of 15 minutes.
• All transportation is organized from a single pickup point. If your group is spread out in different areas of a larger resort, please arrange a meeting point where transportation begins and where it can be reasonably split between different buses.
• If you stay in a place that is difficult to access (e.g., very steep mountain slopes), it may be too dangerous for drivers to pick you up right at your doorstep. In this case, we kindly ask that you wait for the driver at a safe and convenient spot. We'll make sure to pick you up at the nearest, safely accessible location.
